Terms and ConDitions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Anglia Waste & Clearance. By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services Provided

We provide waste removal, clearance services, and flooring uplift (including carpet, vinyl, laminate, and hard flooring).

We do not handle hazardous waste, including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, oils, or medical waste.

3. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates based on information provided (e.g. photos, descriptions).

  • Final pricing may change if:

    • The volume of waste differs

    • Additional items are present

    • Access is more difficult than expected

  • Any price changes will be discussed and agreed before work continues.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the job, unless agreed otherwise in advance.

  • We reserve the right to request partial or full payment upfront for larger jobs.

  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at booking.

5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a £40 cancellation fee.

  • If we arrive and are unable to complete the job due to access issues or incorrect information, a call-out fee may apply.

6. Access & Site Conditions

  • Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property and waste.

  • This includes:

    • Clear pathways

    • Adequate parking

    • No restrictions preventing removal

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Long carry distances

    • Stairs or restricted access

    • Excessively heavy or difficult items

7. Waste Responsibility

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring all waste is accurately described.

  • We reserve the right to refuse removal of:

    • Hazardous or prohibited materials

    • Waste not disclosed prior to arrival

  • All waste collected will be disposed of at licensed waste facilities in accordance with UK regulations.

8. Waste Transfer Documentation

  • A Waste Transfer Note (WTN) will be completed for each job where required.

  • Customers may request a copy for their records.

9. Liability

  • We take reasonable care when carrying out work; however, we are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage to property

    • Damage caused by moving items through restricted spaces

    • Hidden hazards or unsafe conditions

  • Customers should inform us in advance of any risks or fragile areas.

10. Additional Work / Upselling

  • Any additional work requested on-site will be:

    • Quoted separately

    • Agreed before completion

  • Work outside the original scope is not included in initial pricing.

11. Subcontractors

  • Some jobs may be carried out by approved operators working on behalf of Anglia Waste & Clearance.

  • All work is managed and arranged through Anglia Waste & Clearance.

12. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • We aim to arrive within agreed time slots, but delays may occur due to:

    • Traffic

    • Previous jobs overrunning

    • Weather conditions

  • We will communicate any delays as soon as possible.

13. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us within 48 hours of job completion so we can resolve the issue promptly.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on request or via our website.
